    Accessibility Statement

WCAG 2.1 AA · Section 508 · EAA aligned · VPAT on request

Skillvora is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

Conformance target: Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. We also align with Section 508 of the US Rehabilitation Act and the European Accessibility Act (EAA) requirements for digital services.

Voice mode accessibility: voice-based simulations are always opt-in and ship with a fully equivalent text path. Every voice session produces live captions (WCAG 1.2.4) and a downloadable transcript, the microphone toggle is keyboard-operable with an aria-pressed state and a visible focus ring, and the marketing sample on the homepage and /demo is text-only and fully navigable by keyboard and screen reader. Students who cannot or do not want to use voice can complete any assigned simulation in text mode with no scoring penalty — rubric criteria are mode-agnostic.

Known limitations: a small number of legacy authoring controls do not yet expose full ARIA labeling and are scheduled for remediation in our next quarterly accessibility release. Auto-generated charts in analytics include a tabular data alternative as a fallback. Voice mode requires microphone permission and a supported browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari); students on unsupported browsers are automatically routed to the text path.

How we test: keyboard-only walkthroughs, NVDA and VoiceOver screen-reader passes on every release of student-facing surfaces (including voice and text modes), automated axe-core scans in CI, and an annual third-party audit producing the VPAT/ACR.

Report a barrier: email accessibility@skillvora.io with the page URL and a description of the issue. We acknowledge within 2 business days and target remediation within 5 business days for blocking issues and 30 days for non-blocking issues.

Request an accommodation: students who need an alternative format for an assigned simulation should contact their institution's disability services office; institutions can reach us at accessibility@skillvora.io to coordinate.
