Students collaborating with AI-powered learning tools

About Skillvora — AI role-play simulations for higher education

We build AI simulations that help students practice the messy, human parts of their profession. And give faculty proof that they did.

    How we got here

Skillvora started with a frustration most faculty will recognize: students can ace a test and still freeze up in a real client meeting, a patient intake, or a difficult workplace conversation. The skills that matter most are the hardest to teach, and nearly impossible to assess at scale.

We built Skillvora to close that gap. Every simulation produces a full Evidence Packet including a transcript, rubric scores, objective tracking, and AI coaching notes. Faculty don't have to choose between experiential learning and defensible assessment.

We launched in 2025 with three pilot campuses. We're still small, still learning, and still obsessively iterating on the product. If you're a program director or faculty member thinking about how to make experiential learning actually measurable, we'd genuinely love to talk.

    What we believe

These principles guide every product decision we make.

    Evidence, not just grades

Every simulation generates a detailed record including transcripts, rubric breakdowns, and coaching feedback that faculty and accreditors can actually use.

    Works with your LMS

LTI 1.3 integration with Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle, and others. Students launch simulations from the tools they already use.

    Coaching in real time

The AI doesn't just score. It coaches. Students get actionable feedback during the simulation, not days later in a grade portal.

    AI-resilient by design

Branching, dynamic scenarios make cheating with AI tools irrelevant. We assess process, not product.

    Faculty-first authoring

Instructors create and customize simulations aligned to their course objectives. Your IP stays yours.

    Transparency over hype

We share real pilot data, not inflated metrics. Our landing page has anonymized faculty feedback, not invented logos.

    The team behind it

One of us spent a decade in higher ed, watching faculty scramble to prove that students were actually learning something beyond test-taking. The other built AI systems and kept asking: why does every chatbot demo feel like a parlor trick?

Skillvora started as a question: what if the practice itself was the proof? Not a badge. Not a certificate of completion. An actual record of a student navigating a hard conversation, with timestamps, rubric scores, and coaching notes attached.

    What pilot faculty are saying

Real feedback from instructors at our three pilot campuses.

"My students used to memorize scripts for patient interviews. With Skillvora, they actually have to think on their feet. The Evidence Packets give me something concrete for accreditation reviews."

    Dr. Sarah Chen

    Program Director, Nursing

    Midwest State University

"I was skeptical about AI in the classroom. But this isn't a chatbot—it's a practice environment. Students get better every session, and I can see exactly where they're struggling."

    JO

    Prof. James Okafor

    Department Chair, Social Work

    Pacific Northwest College

"We piloted Skillvora in our business communication course last semester. Student confidence scores on difficult conversations jumped 34%. The rubric alignment saved me hours of grading."
